The Beginning: DuBBs biggest interest in Hip Hop began at the age of 11, from Roxbury MA . Hip-Hop was still growing and the S..$! was HOT In the streets. Hearing artists like the furious five, Sugerhill gang, UTFO,The Fat boys,Boggie down production, movies like Beat Street/CrushGroov/Breaking, made him see that the hood! was developing a new sound for the streets. At a young age he decided to hone his skills as an artist.Since his days as a teen, DuBBs has remained devoted to Hip Hop: as an underground Mc having been involved since 1992. Even at the age of 15, DuBB held a position hosting at Emerson Colleges WERS assisting with host D the Nubian along side his sister Lady T, where he quickly became known for his ability to show and prove on the air, free-styling over beats and just bugging out.
In 1993 his former group Thurd Rayle,members Kev & Brook foot, they all notice how each others delivery combined with charisma and creativity, the three formed the group Thurd Rayle (Third Rail). Their unique rhyme flow put them in a new category that set them aside from other groups and generated a healthy street buzz.Group projects: The Thurd would go on to perform at shows on numerous college campuses, in other states, including University of Massachusetts Boston, Emerson College, Roxbury College, and Northeastern University. In addition, they also participated in many local shows held at organized community centers for youth audiences. The group also hosted at Thursday nights Battle for the Mic Clashing crews with former DJ HuB on WRBB, Northeastern University radio station. The Thurd was also applauded at New Yorks lyricist lounge for upcoming group. After generating a buzz amongst many independent labels, the group parted in 1997. DuBB, however, remained passionate about his craft, and continued to take forward steps towards success in the music industry.Solo projects: Dubbs "AKA Mr. Flint" was envolved with some reggeaton artist from Miami called Stomp the stress held in Havana. DuBBs also featured on mix tape volumes 2, 3 and 5 with Boston Dj Wild West formally known for doing production with the Boot Camp Clique. DuBBs also managing projects in Europe with DJ Biko and is now working on more featurings, Booking shows and putting out a Video compilation mix tape of artist like MR Harvy/ Jwone Blaze on!/ Bro.Bambuu, and GMP. All group and solo releases for upcoming mix tape, compilations, and albums will be managed by "Frontline Entertainment".
