Nigel McGuinness was raised on healthy diet of punk rock and soccer riots on the mean streets of London and is now using the experience to kick Yankee arse all over the US.
His usual style is British technical, but he is quite versatile. He has unique ability on the microphone that can either enrage or win over fans (sometimes both).
He can easily slip into the role of a face or heel, which ever suits his needs. But you will always get a good dose of British cheekiness and amazing wrestling skill.
Nigel began training in September of 1998 at Heartland Wrestling Association (previously a developmental territory for WWE), in Cincinnati, OH with the legendary Les Thatcher.
His first professional match was featured on an ABC 20/20 Special profiling the life of wrestling students in September, 1999.
He's currently a featured wrestler with Ring of Honor and HWA. Nigel appears on HWA's local TV show regularly and at ROH shows all over the country. He is a former Ring of Honor Pure Title Champion, holding the record for the longest reigning champion. He has appeared on WWE Sunday Night Heat, TNA Wrestling and the WWE's current developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling .
and has notably wrestled for the Third Annual Brian Pillman Memorial show in August, 2001.
