"Well I'm not rich and I'm not free But I've got my girl and she got me" (and Anthony Bourdain.)
titticut follies, harold and maude, sex and lucia, manhattan, the way we were, meet me in st. louis, dazed and confused, gummo, all about my mother, little miss sunshine, a chronicle of a summer, the exorcist, the shining...and so on...
wife swap, entourage, intervention, take home chef, food network, anthony bourdain: no reservations, and last but certainly not least, my so-called life re-runs
(i'm changing this section to "stuff you like to read:") i'm finishing all my half read books right now. i like rainer maria rilke, chuck klosterman, jamaica kincaid, david foster wallace, recently raymond carver (thanks to matt), the streets of crocodiles, youth in revolt, lolita, to kill a mockingbird, matilda, the fifth child, like water for chocolate, cat on a hot tin roof, a very old man with enormous wings, graffiti in the subway, magazines (but almost exclusively while on the toilet (yeah i know, gross)), true stories about famous people, true stories about broken people. the internet. um, i like to read love letters too, even if they're not to me (but especially if they are.)
