Sareta Gabriel Make-up is my art!

Having trained at the London College of Fashion and worked at a leading cosmetic company, Sareta is a professional freelance make-up artist. With a recognised qualification and experience in the Make Up sector, Sareta Gabriel is Make-up artist who provides bridal and fashion make-up services to clients throughout London and the surrounding areas.
Sareta has worked with many industry professionals, including photographers, stylists, and models within the industry. Editorials and appearances include- The Lick (mtv), BBC Three, Oyster magazine, RWD, Disorder, TEEN Vogue, Pride, Living South, Adornment, The metro, The Mirror & Guardian newspaper.

"I get a lot of questions about how I started up, how to become a make-up artist, recommendations etc..... BASICALLY, it’s different for everyone! You’ve got to work hard and work with the right people. I don’t think it matters where you study, but how you study is definatly important! I left college and studied fashion design, then found myself in make-up... so in a way I feel fate had a little part in getting me back into the right direction! I didn’t have a make-up portfolio so I asked friends to model for me. I did hair, make-up and styling- then asked them to pose whilst I took their photo! I didn’t have a fantastic camera, They were all done before everyone had a digital camera, so some were taken with a disposable, some with a really old camera! It paid off as it enabled me to show off some of my skills which led to meeting some fantastic people and working on some fabulous shoots. (Some of the shoots I did you can find in “PICS” have a look- there are some oldies in there!)

I do test now and again, it depends on the team to be honest- i'm only working with strong, focused, talented, experienced people! Work is usually done for submission to magazines so I'm ONLY working with experienced models too!
