Cute MySpace LayoutsPastor L. Andre' Person was born to Apostle Alexander and Dr. Helen Person. He was the third of two siblings, his brother, Gregory and sister, Dionni. Pastor Andre’ attended St. Matthew Holiness Church, now known as New Harvest Temple, from childbirth. Pastor Person was baptized in in Jesus’ name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 11.At the age of sixteen, Pastor Person answered the call into ministry. He delivered his trial sermon in January of 1995. The title of the message was “Breathe on me†according to Genesis 2:7. Pastor Andre’ was the youngest person to have delivered a trial sermon in the history of the St. Matthew Holiness Church. He was also the first to have had prayer line after a trial-sermon. He progressed as a minister in Godly fashion. In November of 1999, Minister Andre’ was ordained a minister of evangelism. In 2002, Apostle Person officially appointed him to the office of Junior Pastor. Then Pastor Andre’ was ordained an Elder during the 3rd Annual Holy Convocation of the Five Fold Apostolic Faith Ministries in 2004.Pastor Person is an anointed musician who has played for various musical groups around the tri-state area. It was through his musical journeys that he met the love of his life, Shelby Lewis. On November of 2000 , they were married in holy matrimony, and they now have two children, LJ and Shay.On Sunday, June 26, 2005 during Apostle Alexander Person's 65th birthday celebration, he announced to the church body that he was leaving the office of Sr. Pastor to fulfill his Apostleship. He then announced that Elder Andre’ Person, Sr. would serve as the Pastor of the St. Matthew Holiness Church. After constantly seeking the direction of God, Pastor Andre’ Person received it during a weekday evening service. On Wednesday, February 15, 2006 the Lord said to make a declaration that night and "Name that place with a new name" (Gen. Chapter 32). After much prayer, Pastor Person proudly presented “ New Harvest Temple †as the new name of the church. This change encouraged a new vision and ministry to all who are a part of the church body. For God’s glory, through Pastor Person’s ministry souls are saved, marriages mended, miracles performed and healings provoked.
