THE BAND THEY COULD NOT HANG

About Me

Rebecca and Larry started the paperbax in y2k.

Initially it was just the two of us and Larry's computer. Our rehearsals were the quintessential "bedroom indie" type of practice - no equipment whatsoever (apart from the aforementioned computer, and of course our guitars) but lots and lots of enthusiasm.

It wasn't until the autumn of 2001 that we had our first gig, with live drums and all. Since then we've had a few lineup changes (Monty and Vessie did save us by joining in at a terribly difficult moment) and a few nice achievements to recollect. Anyway - to cut a long story short, here we are now: eagerly anticipating our first release through our own brand new label, First Time Out Records.

Featured Songs:
The first three songs here are from our forthcoming Mondegreen EP. The last song, Skindeep, is from our 2003 CD-R self release, Ten Demo Trax. To learn more about Mondegreen EP, check our blog .
