Mi chiamo Fabio Abate, catanese classe 1973. Cantante ed autore di testi e musiche, a 19 anni circa ho cominciato a girare con la prima band per i locali del centro etneo suonando insieme alle cover i brani inediti del mio repertorio. Dal 2001 vivo a Roma. Tra le cose che vale la pena ricordare la partecipazione per due volte, nel 2004 e nel 2005, a Sanremolab e l'accesso in entrambe le occasioni alle fasi semifinali. Il mio progetto: un disco interamente autoprodotto! Cio' che potete ascoltare qui e' stato registrato negli ultimi due anni nella mia stanza, col mio pc e la mia fedele chitarra acustica!!
hello! My name is Fabio Abate, from Catania, 33 year old. Singer and author of lyrics and musics to 19 years approximately, i have begun to play with my first band into the clubs and pub of Catania, playing covers and my own songs. Since 2001 i moved to Rome where currently i have home. In 2004 and 2006 i was in Sanremolab contest acceding in both the occasions to semifinals. My plan: my first cd completely self-producted ! All songs you can listen here has been recorded in the last two years in my room, with my PC and my acoustic guitar!!!
