We just love them Breaks!!

About Me

S.C.U.D. aka Gaz and Migs have been playing music together since their school days. Formerly guitarist and bass player of rock band Grill, they supported such acts as Ocean Colour Scene and Terrorvision. Their interest in dance music grew from the crossing over of sounds in the 90's from acts like the Chemical Brothers and the 'big beat' sounds coming out on Skint Records. After stints at Salford and Barnsley music college's and plenty of nights out clubbing, their love of music technology and Dj'ing had been firmly established. When breakbeat came along with its kick-ass beats and anything goes attitude, it was the natural home for their musical passion and DJ'ing. S.C.U.D. are now working on breaks tunes their own due out later this year on Beatbreaker Records.Breaksfest is dedicated to bringing you a night of the freshest new dance music and dj talent. With elements of deep house, electro, techno but with the emphasis firmly on breaks, there's something to suit the taste of any discerning dance music lover. Breaksfest is currently held at the Hangar Scunthorpe. Check out the music by downloading the latest mix by residents S.C.U.D. from www.breaksfest.co.uk
