I started sitting next to my mom while she played the piano and hummed music and harmony before I could talk. I was doing shows with my 2 sisters, (I was the baby), for as long as I can remember. Whenever we traveled, I had to sit in the middle of them and it was my job to find the note that they weren't singing. If I took one of their notes I got elbowed...sometimes from both sides(OUCH!!) Now I sing with just one of my sister's(the blonde), and we have a great time! I grew up listening to many Genre's of music and came from musical parents. My Daddy was the man that put the shows together and my Mom was a beautiful singer that sung on his shows. She sang with a trio "The Deltones". It's hard to put myself in to one group of music because I love to write and sing all kinds of music. I love Opera, Classical, Progressive Country, Contemporary Music, Experimental anything, and of course Rock and Roll. I have been influenced by many artists and although I do not read music, I hear it and love to write it. My first passion was "Ballet" and when I injured my knee, that's when I really started writing music and singing more. I have been fortunate to travel all over the world and sing and I love being in front of the audience and bringing smiles to the faces I see. Music is truly the universal language and it is a way that I can share my heart and my soul. I get lost in my own world while I am on stage and I am able to share my heartaches and my joys along the way. I really admire "true artists" that can paint a picture for the listener and are able to reach inside of me and express what I feel. I hope that my music does that for others. I am always striving to do better because if I think I'm "all that"...I better give it up since there is so much for me to learn and so many opportunities to grow and so many great musicians to learn from.
