Zadrion "Stylez" Hawkins has always had a passion and enthusiasm for music since a younger age. He started rapping at the age of 12 with label-mate C-Los.
"Back then, we would use a tape recorder......we would play old puff daddy and west side connection instrumentals on one side......and record over the tape on the other side hahahah. We lived in the projects next to railroad tracks so sometimes we would here the train in the background", states Stylez.
After a few years, Stylez became a member of the 3-Ride Click.....started by Carl "Phat Mac" Clark, Kevin "K-Luv" Lewis, and Anthony "D$Money" Dyson. 3-Ride instantly became one of the most well-known and powerful crew/group in Southeast Arkansas.
"We were more like family then anything......we all grew up together!" "And not anyone could get down you know.....".
This connection would later birth the label known as Three Ride Entertainment. The Entertainment label now consists of artists: Stylez, C-Los, T-Baby, D$Money, Sunset, Lil Day, MA-Duble, Whoa, Jaban, C.G., K-Luv, and Phil. T.R.E flooded the streets of Arkansas with their first album release "The Takeova". The only consisted mostly of Los and Stylez destroying every instrumental!!!! Their talent shined bright and opened doors. The buzz for the album was so big they later released "The Takova II" and "The Takeova Reloaded", both doing major street numbers.
The Producer::-
But the label was lacking a producer...........thats when the infamous "DJ STYLEZ" was born.
Stylez started making beats and created a huge buzz!!!! "Mane.........after I started receiving this beat money.......I was like fuck this rap!!! This where the bread at!", explains Stylez.
DJ Stylez is now argueably one of the best underground producers out right now............Selling over 400 beats to artists from California to New York to Florida. And with experience as a rapper, Stylez knows just what other rappers want to spit to!!!!
