SAIOA, Marieder ta Kamilaren arteko laguntasunezko maitemintze baten historioa da, Euskal Herriko folk-trad eszenatokietatik pasatueta heien apartezko proiektuekin... heien kitarra ta ahotsek bat egin dute gure zorion haundienarentzat...
Ezagutu dira, aurkitu ta probatu ta SAIOA sortu zen. Gaur egun idatzitako Euskal bertso ederen baita ilunetan oinarituz, heien bi hotsek bat egiten dute izugarrizko manera batetan. Heien kitarren folk ta melankoliaz betetako erritmoekin, heien melodiak zuen burruetan sartuko dira inoiz ateratzeko

SAIOA, c est la rencontre de Marieder et Kamila, qui ayant toutes deux écumé depuis quelques années la scène folk-rock-traditionnelle du Pays Basque dans leurs groupes respectifs, ont décidé d allier leurs guitares et leurs voix.
Elle se sont connues un jour, se sont trouvées, ont fait un essai ...et SAIOA est né.
Leur deux voix et leurs guitares mélancoliques aux accents folk s' accordent pour porter de beaux et sombres vers écrits en langue basque. Et si un jour vous avez l occasion de les voir et de les entendre, vous aurez la surprise de constater que ces demoiselles ont l audace de conjuguer sensibilité et autodérision...

SAIOA es la historia de un encuentro, un flechazo de amistad entre Marieder y Kamila, quienes han destacado desde hace uno años en los escenarios folk-rock-tradicional del País Vasco con sus respectivos grupos. Han decidido unir sus guitarras y sus voces para el gozo de nuestra felicidad.
Ellas se encontraron un día, se conocieron, hicieron un ensayo y nació SAIOA.
Sus dos voces se concuerdan a las mil maravillas y dan luz a los versos vascos mas bellos y mas sombríos escritos hasta el día de hoy. A ritmos de guitarra melancólica con acentos de folk, las melodías de SAIOA penetraran en vuestra mente y en vuestro corazón para no dejaros nunca jamás.
Y si un día tienen la ocasión de verlas y escucharlas, tendrán la grata sorpresa de constatar que estas chicas tienen la audacia de conjugar sensibilidad y autocríticas.

SAIOA is the story of a meeting, it was friendship at first sight between Marieder and Kamila, who have become successful for many years in different traditional folk-rock stages in the Basque Country with their own groups. They have decided to join together their guitars and voices for our self fulfilment.
They met one day, got to know each other, rehearsaled for the first time and SAIOA was born.
Their two voices go together wonderfully to bring out the most beautiful and sorrowful Basque verses ever written till now. The rhythms of a melancholic guitar mixed with folk accents, will swirl SAIOA’s melodies in your mind and in your heart forever and ever.
And if one day you have the chance to watch and listen to them, you will feel the pleasant surprise when you find out the audacity of these two ladies who combine sensibility and self-criticism.
