About Me

Hi everybody!

Tom is a mid-aged normal (hey, what's that?) norwegian guy loving music and birds(!). Strange combination? I don't think so...!

I live in the southern part of Norway - about 100 km north of Oslo, the capitol of Norway! Exciting?

Not the centre of the world - but who cares? Internet have no limits!

For living (and as a another great interest) I am an IT manager at the local council. That's a challenge!

As you see from my friends list my main interest is music, music, music!

I love comments!

My Interests

Music:

I'm a music lover!

My preferences are mostly in progressive genres, but some metal and AOR also make me smile. My roots are back in the seventies, but I enjoy listening to new bands and am curious about how progressive music evolves.

Some of my favourites are: Genesis, Pink Floyd, ELP, Yes, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Marillion, Camel, ELO, Supertramp, Kansas, Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, Pendragon, Dream Theater, The Flower Kings, Arena, Kino, Frost*, Rush, RPWL, Popl Vuh/Ace, Magic Pie, White Willow, A.C.T...

Books:

I love Henning Mankell - a swedish author of crime fiction. Kurt Wallander, his fictional police investigator is a hero(?) and like myself have concerns about how our modern society is evolving. A lot of his books have been transfered to movies.

Today I'm in Rick Wakeman mood
