Vincent

I'm about to start setting shit on fire.

About Me

Self-taught artist. I'd rather be drawing than working, which tends to lead to long stints of selling weird-ass pictures to scrape by if I can opt to do that over real jobs.Recently picked up an apprenticeship under the talented Jason Blanton, so all of my waking time is spent at Dirty South Tattoo in Pelham, AL.

My Interests

Tattooing, and working through my apprenticeship. I'm in need of gear for this endeavour, so I've opened up a PayPal account to accept donations. Keep in mind that anything donated to me will be returned quite generously in tattoos once I've cut my teeth behind a machine. While you could be spending money on charities to save starving South African children and tsunami victims, little kids with flies buzzing around their face won't hook you up with some sick art. :)

I'd like to meet:

The Grime. Paul Booth. Guy Aitchison. Horiyoshi III. The tattooers over in Japan are awesome. Inkrat, Cotton Pickin', Kingrat, and Radmake all have artists I would love to meet even if I couldn't understand a word of what they're saying.

Music:

A little bit of everything. Mainly old punk, metal, and some deep-fried southern rock.

Movies:

I seldom have time to watch them these days. But I'm a huge fan of B-movies. Really low-budget ones.

Television:

Never really have the time.

Books:

Most anything by Clive Barker, Steven King, and Richard Matheson. I love horror novels.

Heroes:

I hate that show.

Goddamn you, thrift-stores.

Thrift stores suck, right now. At least in Alabaster. I recall a time when the one right by my house was a fucking scavenger's wet-dream, when I was in high-school. But a recent visit to it the other ...
