Im not very hard to get along with. The only real requirements would be a pulse (negotiable), a love for music and a high tolerance for nonsense. However, if I could meet anyone, I guess it would be Mr. Fife and Mr. Waits. Also, Mike Muir. nippin it in the fuckin bud
I am a huge Psychobilly and Rockabilly fan. I also like oldies, surf and classic rock, all punk and punk derivatives (hardcore, ska, old school, etc.), classic country, heavy metal and all metal derivatives (thrash, death, hair, etc.), some alternative rock, classic soul and a bunch of other stuff. A few of my favorite artists (in no particular order) are: Social Distortion, The Stray Cats, Reverend Horton Heat, Joe Strummer and the Mescalaro's, Rockin Ryan and the Real Goners, Frank Black and the Catholics, Los Straitjackets, Los Lobos, The Smithereens, Dire Straits, Chris Isaak, The Proclaimers, Counting Crows, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, The Cowboy Junkies, Love and Rockets, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, The Butthole Surfers, The Cult, Tom Waits, The Ramones, U.S. Bombs, The Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, The Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Cro Mags, The Vandals, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown, and of course, ELVIS! Old Sci Fi and b list monster movies, Platoon, Spinal Tap, The Life of Brian, The Holy Grail, The Ruttles, Apocalypse Now, City Of Lost Children (french subtitled version), Jackass 1 and 2, The Shining, The Duel, SLC Punk, The Wall, The Lost Boys and the list goes on and on and on. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning..." Ash 'Animal Mutha' "Well do ya? Punk?" "DANNY!"
Futurama, Mythbusters, The Alternative (VH-1 classic video show), Law and Order (the original), Conan O'Brian, I used to love Mystery Science Theater 3000, but the bungholes took it off. A few other shows are ok, but not really worth listing, anything from the 50's and 60's. New TV is pretty boring. Hitchcock Presents...the signpost up ahead...Some stuff I grew up watching (hey, I know it aint masterpiece theater, but I was just a kid):Airwolfthem Duke boysI pity the fool who missed The A TeamCHiPsKnight RiderThe Muppet Show
I think it would be easier to list my favorite writers than it would be to make out a big long list of specific books. I read alot and it would just take too long to list everything I consider a favorite book, so heres a few favorite writers (once again, in no kind of order)...Anne RiceErnest HemmingwayStephen KingEdgar Allen PoeFrank HerbertDave BarryTom Clancy
My dad, Elvis Presley, Tom Waits, Johnny Knoxville
