Hi I'm Jamie, I'm 27 and live in Worcester and fortunate for my life to revolve around playing music. I'm a multi skilled musician with my main instrument being the drums with the last 13 years learning my trade and working as a session player in my leisure time.
I'm currently working with 'Sound Level' - Function/Covers Band, 'Lords of the Flatbush' - Rockabilly/ Rock n Roll Band and last but not least 'Unkle Monty' -My Originals Band! See my top frinds for links for all these bands.
A brief history of my musical life: From the age 13, I was lucky enough to have drum lessons at my high school for 2 years, from there I learnt from the greats including Bonham, Clem Burke, Chad Smith, Taylor Hawkins etc by watching DVD's, listening to CD's and raiding old record collections from the good old days, which have heavily influenced my playing, and contributing to my unique & versatile style.
Now aged 27 with a succession of bands under my belt and fortunately surrounded by impressive musical talent... I'm enjoying life, meeting and playing with lots of interesting people and playing around the country. As you would expect, keeping my eyes & ears open for the next golden opportunity!!! Drums & music take up alot of my time, with the wife being very supportive and always on hand to offer plenty good advice and pratical direction.
I pride myself in having excellent playing skills and a good musical ear, especially when beats are required. My spare pennies have bought me the best quality equipment available and I'm lucky to be able to use it frequently etc...
So my 13 years have been spent wisely and I'm continually learning as any good musician should........ If you want to get an idea of how good I am, come and see me in action. I think you'll be quietly impressed....... I would blow my trumpet alot more than this but I'm simply to Modest....
