I'm "Marketing Geek" with over 20 years experience in marketing businesses of many sizes and types. I've created and launched thousands of products and been deeply involved in every aspect of the marketing process. Belly-to-belly selling, global branding and positioning, online marketing, small business marketing, direct marketing, and product development.
I'm kind of a specialist in debunking the mystery and mystique surrounding marketing, and I try to bring everything down to an understandable and reproducible process through a ‘systems approach.' Marketing doesn’t have to be difficult and expensive if you are willing to take the steps necessary to build a solid marketing foundation and set up systems to do the heavy lifting for you. Your business can be fun again with the right kind of marketing system that constantly and automatically works in the background to bring you a constant stream of new business.
I'm a Writer, Consultant, Musician, Coach, Mentor, and Entrepreneur.
I live at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Louisville, Colorado with my wife, Ellen, and three wonderful children.

My Interests

Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, Bluegrass Music, Outdoors, Family

I'd like to meet:

Entrepreneurs, other marketers, people looking for joint ventures in the entrepreneur space (independent and small business entrepreneurs).

I'm also always looking for a very motivated computer programmer to partner with on my many ideas and projects for marketing-related software. Mostly looking for a AJAX/PHP coder.

Music:

Pretty much everything. I like Bluegrass, a lot of current pop, some country, some Hip Hop, Singer Songwriter Stuff, Americana. Mostly, I like to bust out my mandolin or guitar and make my own music. Either with my band "The Chillbillies" or just as a break from the computer.

Movies:

I love all kinds of movies, but the latest one that had the most impact on me was "Hustle and Flow" a must see for any Entrepreneur.

Television:

Not much.

Books:

I'm constantly reading. Mostly marketing stuff and attraction stuff.
