I like cars, trains and enjoy being a huge flirt. I build models of all kinds but mainly model cars and am presently working on a model railroad in the back room of our house. A big portion of the railroad was built by my late father. I moved it from his house in TN to here last fall. I decided to expand and finish what he started in honor of his love of trains.

Old school heavy duty rock and roll. The new stuff that's being called metal only has a bit of an appeal to me. I've always been a rock and roller. I was even the one and only roadie for my son's band until the big break up. So all in all now I'm just a washed up old rock and roller.
Most of the new movies don't appeal to me because, after you've seen as many movies as I have during my short life span (so far) most of them just seem like a re-hashing of the same old tired stories. So I suppose you could say I like most of the old school movies and the new ones that show a little bit of originality.
Don't watch much TV. I got burned out on commercial TV many years ago. The commercials seem to insult your intelligence more today than they did in the past. When I do watch TV, it's shows on TLC, Discovery and the like.
Right now I'm reading a bunch of railroading books. Boning up on my knowledge of trains so that my model railroad will be as authentic as possible without going over board. When I'm not reading about trains, I love to read Fanasty type fiction. The Dragon Lance series started by Margret Weiss is my favorite.
My father. I've always tried to be as good a person as he was. There was nothing that my dad ever did that wasn't thought out and done right the first time.Out side of my family I would have to say that my hero was Jo Siffert...A Swiss racing driver that got killed in 1971 doing what he loved....racing cars. He got himself to the top of his field by doing it on his own, his way and was one of the best at what he did.
