La Soul en France semble venir combler un vide laissé par les médias et les majors. Les plus de trente ans amateurs de black music ainsi que les plus jeunes en quête d'une forme d'expression profonde, se tournent naturellement vers cette musique. La Soul vient depuis quelques années s'emparer des scènes parisiennes et s'installe progressivement sur les scènes de nos villes de provinces pour notre plus grand bonheur. La Soul n'en n'est qu'.. ses balbutiements mais nul doute qu'elle ne tardera pas à se faire entendre du grand public avec l'émergence de nouveaux artistes de talent.
Ce courant si prometteur, a néanmoins besoin d'un petit coup de pouce. Un cap est sur le point d'..tre franchi. En effet la venue l'ann..e derni..re de Geno Young, a marqué le début d'une étroite collaboration avec la nouvelle scène Soul française. Geno Young Auteur, compositeur, interpr..te de talent (Directeur musical de Erykah Badu durant 5 ans) a décidé de contribuer à la maturation de notre mouvement. Il travaille actuellement sur un album en collaboration avec des artistes Soul fran..ais et américains... Cette véritable implication méritait une réponse.
Action Création* a donc décidé d'organiser un concours mettant en scène des chanteurs amateurs et professionnels. Il s'agira d'un tremplin organisé dans le but de faire d..couvrir de nouveaux talents et à cette occasion, d'offrir au gagnant (e) un week end à Dallas ! Trois jours avec Geno Young pour un programme passionnant et riche en ..motions. Visite guid..e de Dallas, du "Black forest theater" lieu historique pour la communauté noire du Texas racheté et exploité par Erykah Badu, il est aujourd' hui le haut lieu culturel point d'ancrage pour son association le "B.L.I.N.D" (Beautiful Love Incorporated Non Profit Development), fondation oeuvrant pour la communaut... Le point culminant de ce voyage sera l'occasion pour le ou la gagnante de se produire, accompagn..(e) par le groupe Camp Wisdom, sur la sc..ne du Sankofa arts Kafe, salle mythique o.. se sont produit Erykah Badu, Roy Hargrove, Geno Young, N'dambi Carmen Rodgers, God's Property, Myron Butler, Camp Wisdom, Sandra St. Victor, tous natifs de Dallas. Y ont joué également Jill Scott et Franck Mac Comb etc...
Le concours se déroulera du mois d'Octobre au mois de Mai à raison de deux événements par mois (Le deuxième Dimanche 16h et le troisième Jeudi 20h30 de chaque mois) au Canal Opus. Des éliminatoires et des phases finales sont prévues à cet effet. Chaque candidat(e) au concours, devra présenter deux reprises au choix, pour ce faire les candidats seront accompagnés par les musiciens du Rimshot crew dirigés par Joon. Une liste de 45 chansons est proposée. Des précisions concernant les dates seront apportées ultérieurement... L'entrée sera de 8 €.

This so promising current, needs nevertheless a small blow of inch. A course is on the crossed point of. .tre. Indeed the arrival the ann. .e derni. .re of Geno Young, marked the beginning of a close cooperation with the new scene Soul Frenchwoman. Geno Young Author, type-setter, interpr. .te of talent (Directing musical of Erykah Badu during 5 years) decided to contribute to the maturation of our movement. It currently works on an album in collaboration with artists Soul fran. .ais and American… This true implication deserved an answer.
Action Création* thus decided to organize a contest putting in scene singers amateurs and professionals. It will be about a springboard organized with an aim of making d.couvrir new talents and on this occasion, to offer to gaining (E) a week end in Dallas! Three days with Geno Young for a program impassioning and rich in. .motions. Guided tour. .e of Dallas, the " Black forest theater " historical place for the black community of Texas repurchased and exploited by Erykah Badu, it is the high cultural place today point of anchoring for its association the " B.L.I.N.D " (Beautiful Love Incorporated Non Development Profit), foundation working for the communaut… The climax of this voyage will be the occasion for or gaining it to occur, accompagn. (E) by the group Camp Wisdom, on Sc .ne of the Sankofa arts Kafe, mythical room O. occurred Erykah Badu, Roy Hargrove, Geno Young, dambi Carmen Rodgers, God' S Property, Myron Butler, Camp Wisdom, Sandra St Victor, all natives of Dallas. Y also played Jill Scott and Franck Mac Comb etc…
The contest will proceed October in May at a rate of two events per month (second Sunday 16 H and third Thursday 20 h30 of each month) with the Canal Opus. Final eliminating heats and phases are envisaged to this end. Each candidate (E) with the contest, will have to present two recoveries at the choice, with this intention the candidates will be accompanied by the musicians of the Rimshot crew directed by Joon. A list of 45 songs is proposed. Precise details concerning the dates will be brought later on… The entry will be of 8 €.
