Music. Law. Writing. Books. Soap - yeah I make the stuff...:) Rollerblading -I love it - going fast and then a little faster - no music, just time to think...or not to think. You know, I am starting to sing again. I have all my life and it's been my secret heal....however, I smoked and just about killed it off. It's coming back. Thats just amazing to me....God is good. Really good. Even when I am a jerk, he saves me something.....______________________________________________ AGAIN. We'll do it again :)) Ohhhhhh yes. Yes.
Jesus and all of the apostles. My grandparents. Every interesting soul I missed.
This is a video of Michael Kim at his first audition for SYTYCD. He's a really talented guy who should be seen. A very nice person too:) He goes by Onion, and theres a link to his page here on my space. He has alot of video's there which are also sooo worth watching. The Byrds. Richard Thompson, The Proclaimers, Bad Company, Queen, Nat King Cole, Ladysmith Black Mambazo:, Elvis Costello. The Pogues, Kirsty MacColl. Dylan of course. The Beatles, the Stones. Favorite Beatle album - Abbey Road (I can't help it). BEST Harry Chapin album ever - "Greatest Stories Live" - one thing I can honestly thank Ted for -bless your heart wherever in the world you are..... Most recently Modest Mouse when I'm in A WEIRD MOOD, Louis XIV, The Black Keys.. I love this one Queensriche song "Silent Lucidity" - stopped me cold one night on the way home from work. "Change is Gonna Come" -Sam Cook, Nanci Griffith, SARAH VAUGHN, Ella F..., too many to list.. I even like Hank Jr. when I'm in a mood to get drunk and sloppy:) It would be easier to list what I DON'T like. That would be stuff like Guns N Roses:) Sorry. Gag. Or crap like "My Hump" or whatever it is. I ignore that s***. Elly Amaling - (listen to her Faure' art song-gorgeous). Leontyne Price. I love Gabriel Faure's work - fav-Requiem, of course. I want to hear more international music - Korean folk choral pieces... I love classical music and I love the Opera. I just want it to be less expensive and I would love to see them drop the attitude. It would reach so many more people if they did that.... Listen to this... This woman, Diana Higbee is marvelous. When she sings it is almost effortless. It takes my breath away to watch her...
Hot Fuzz! FIDO. Love me if you Dare. Amalie. Dreamcatcher. The Punisher (w/Thomas Jane - oh ANYTHING with Thomas Jane...but The Punisher is pretty much the right movie when you're in a mood:). On The Waterfront. Breaking the Waves. The Iron Giant (really sweet). Anything with Sean Penn in it, and nearly anything with Kevin Spacey. Loved The Life of David Grey" (not sure of title but worth seeing for sure). Lilies of the Field. God's Little Acre. 11:14. Wierdest movie I've ever seen? - "Be Careful". You should watch it and if you ever figure it out or come up with a theory of what just happened, PLEASE email me and let me know.... The Farm: Life Inside Angola Prison. Streetsmart. Again, too many good ones to mention. I love movies with submarines in them or battleships. I don't know why.
Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Hell's Kitchen...I'm on a Gordon Ramsay roll... I LOVE him. You know I'm really liking the reality shows like Survivor so I can watch hot little Ozzy (just kidding..ahem), and some of the dumb mindless ones like Beauty and the Geek just because they're mindless and funny. Ya gotta unwind and let your brain just go somewhere else for a while. Top Chef is fun. Iron Chef. Some of these freaking chefs are WAY TOO SERIOUS. Except G.Ramsay who I will follow down any path. I love to watch snowboarding and swimming (ex-swimmer here) and races and just about any sport EXCEPT football because no matter how hard I try I just don't get it. GOLF IS HELL. Rollerderby - now THERE is some fun crazy stuff. hahahaa.....you need a beer when you watch it and to burp alot. My daughter is the BEST burper. I think it's disgusting in all honesty. Burp somewhere else. Goes for farting too. I truly don't want to sense either one:) I like the History Channel. I've been forced into watching all the geek science shows too and they're actually pretty great. I can almost do a decent Carl Sagan impression now...
The Family of Man - photography...since I was 7 years old when my sister brought it home from a school field trip to NYC. Mumu's Umbrella. Elliot Wigginton books. The FoxFire series. I'm partial to the kind of books where you get little blurbs and interviews of people. I don't remember what you call that. Herters Bull Cook Cookbooks.
Joel McHale.:) Oh, my Mom and Dad for different reasons. Peter Goldberger - attorney. Karen Torley. Bruce Keidan. Cheryl from Alabama. Steven Ramsey my professor at Century for his ethics, character and creativity, and John Paquette because he is such a good kindhearted man and SHARP as hell and refuses to cave his ethics to pressure! It's the cherry on top. Chris Weyandt because he is the best teacher I could possibly imagine. He's so damn strong and focused. Another good soul with a kind heart. Christopher Walken because he's soooo...evil:)...no, amazing... and NOBODY can say MUTHAF***A like he can. You can hear it in your head right now can't you....I'm telling you...Nobody.:) ___________________________________________________________I don't know who this is, but I want to learn how to do this - these guys are great:)
