That's RiNickulous!

About Me

I would like to introduce myself to those who have yet to experience the realm of RiNickulous. I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. Upon college graduation I found myself at a career crossroads, and during a couple years of searching I found my true calling. I was a high school teacher and basketball coach. Although I enjoyed teaching I knew that it was not my passion. It was during this confused period that I stumbled in to my current profession of professional Emcee. A general description of my work would include the fact that I am on a microphone at various events interacting with crowds and hosting such events as the pro beach volleyball tour (AVP), Nascar races, high school assemblies, concerts, movie premieres, private parties, import car shows, sporting events, college campuses, and just about any other event you could imagine. Most events require travel which can range from a single day event to a tour which can range from 6 weeks to 6 months. I provide my services as an entertainer, including improvisation, comedy, and crowd interation. While my profession can be exiting and glamorous, the road can also ware you down. While on tour you are often on the road several moths at a time with no oppurtunity to go home. The comforts of home like friends and family are a substituted by hotel rooms, wireless internet, and cell phone conversations. Don't get me wrong, my job has deinite benefits and perks, and i wouldn't trade it for anything. It is because of my career that I have been to some of the most interesting, captivating, exiting, and random places. Even with these elements there is many a time when my own bed, a home cooked meal, and hanging with your closest friends and family can not be made a realization. Fortunately for me I have encountered and maintain relationships with some of the most interesting people from across the country. Special people that I have befriended range from an authentic bull riding cowboy from Montana, to a retired couple in New Hampshire and College co eds in Rhode island as well as a diversified mix of people in between. My job has also allowed me the luxury of fulfilling goals of traveling to each and every of the continental 48 states for events. Going to concerts (Farm Aid in Seattle being the best) College football games, All Star games, Nascar races, X Games, Horse Shows, Food Festivals, Air Shows, Car Shows, Craft Fairs, and a long list of other venues and events that I would proably never been able to experience. Being paid to be at these places where almost everybody is positive and in a good mood is one of the best perks of the job. I am pretty sure that you have gotten a little taste of what RiNickulous is all about, if you want more all you have to do is ask. As a person who gets paid to talk it is safe to assume that I enjoy communicating. I have some of the best friends in the universe, but I am always searching for more. Keep it real, Keep it RiNickulous.
