So here's the score . . . For those not yet in the know, I'm an emcee (not an MC) for promotional marketing events. Basically, I travel from concerts, to festivals, to college campuses, to sporting events, etc..., and put on a show for whichever product is paying me.
I highly suggest a degree in Marketing for all those reading. Alot of opportunity. Alot of travelling. I don't know too many jobs that take their employees to every continental United State . . .and all within one year. Not too many people I know sit at the top of vert ramps kickin' it with Carey Hart and Bucky Lasek, either. Not to mention gettin' paid to do so! I've been to so many concerts, I couldn't even attempt to name them all. (Rufus Wainiright had to be the most gay of them all! Just hideous. That kid should find the nearest cliff and hurl himself over the edge so we wouldn't have to suffer through his despair.) I've been to damn near every State Fair. Interesting to say the least. I've emceed the X-Games, Boston Marathon, Ozz Fest, Core Tour, NBA All-Star Game (Denver 2005), Yankees/Red Sox/Astros/Reds/Mets games (I've seen basically half the American/National League teams), a shitload of festivals (name it . . .I've been there), I've been to the top Chicago's John Hancock Building with a past Ms. Universe. So many places, so many faces . . . and all thanks to my mouth! And my mom used to always say, "That mouth is never gonna get you anywhere."
I am no longer on permanent vacation, and have since retired as the most prolific, self-proclaimed, Huntsville socialite. My plans have been altered due to an offer from the Family Values Tour. I'll be out 'till October. Check the schedule. If I'm swinging through your hood, let me know the hot spots. I'll buy the first round.
