Fusion Rock Trio Johnny Wailin' consists of drums, bass, and guitar. The drummer Johnny Syncopated, Bass player Johnny 4 String, And Guitar player/singer Johnny Six String have a combined 36 seasons working and living in Yellowstone National Park. In 2003 Johnny 4 String and Johnny Six String ventured to Driggs Idaho in Search of Johnny Syncopated to create an original fusion rock sound. Since then the band has created over four hours of original music. All members are currently living close to the Teton mountains which are an inspiration in their own right, combine that with great people good times and kick ass music and you have got a prime location for creation. They have been a band and touring through Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming for three years now. In those three years they have developed a memorable stage pressence and a dynamic sound, music lovers say (it sounds like Primus and Pink Floyd together). Opening for The Targhee Fest at Grand Targhee Ski Resort in 2005 was big step for the new band. Bands like Blues Travelers, Government Mule, Code Talkers, and PBS attended the music festival.
