I am here for Friends

About Me

This is a subject I love to write about..lol But to really know about someone shouldn't this question be WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT ME. You would get a much more truthful response. I believe that life isn't about how many people we love but about how many people love us. Make sense? So you want to know about me? Ok, well...on the day that I was born the angels got together and decided to create a dream come true...Oppps...That's a song, isn't it? LOLI was born into this world on July 22, 1957 weighing in at 7lbs 3ozs. Most babies tear ducts aren't fully developed at birth so they don't cry real tears but I did! This was probably the first sign of the sensitive and emotional person that I would become. The doctors and nurses at the hospital had never seen such a breath-taking baby and soon the word got out that the most beautiful baby in the world was born. Ok, Ok...so I exagerated a bit, but this is MY MySpace!I do possess good qualities, but I am only human. On occassion, the super glue that holds my halo together may not work and I am prone to do something wrong or foolish. But I have always taken responsibility for such actions.Family and friends are high on my list of priorities. Love is the most wonderful and powerful emotion there is and should NEVER be taken lightly. You should never hold hate in your heart for this will only eat away at your spirit and you will never find inner peace.I have been very lucky to have been blessed by so many wonderful people in my life. And believe me, I thank God everyday! Some people go through life not even feeling a small amount of the love I've known. From family to friends to online friends, you have all touched my heart in some way and I thank you.I am a mom of five, a grandmother of five, a daughter, a sister, a friend..I'm a military mom...I am a cornea transplant survivor..I collect angels~A MESSAGE TO MY CHILDREN~ I have loved you before I even knew you. You were the children that I hoped to have one day. The children who would bless my life. For you, I am truly thankful to God. Although some of you I bonded with in womb, others by the glance of an eye, you are ALL my children. I gave you unconditional love so that you know that no matter where your path leads you, no matter what you do, I will ALWAYS be here for you. Although I know you are not perfect, I see the good qualities in you, even when at times others may not. My wish for you is a liftime filled with the joy that you have given to me. And one day, when I am no longer on this earth you need only to look as close as your heart and I will forever be there...I love you all!! Layout made by

I'd like to meet:

The ONE! Or should I say my kindred soul mate. Does one such person exist? A handful of unsatisfactory relationships have caused me to wonder. But have also given me the wisdom to know what I am looking for. Will I settle again? NO! I would rather live my life alone then to be lonely with someone. Love is not so complicated. If it is, then it may not be love. Love is not just a connection of the heart but the mind and soul as well. When it's real love you don't have to chase it, worry about it or possess it. It lives in your every emotion and leaves no doubt. You just know! I am tired of the mind games and wasted years! I want something deeper and more meaningful. Someone to spend the rest of my life with, someone who feels the same. Two hearts, two minds, two souls, ONE LOVE.My corneal donor-In 2001, I was a corneal transplant recipient. My donor was a 23 year old man who died in an automobile accident four days before my transplant. He gave to me, this man I never met, the most important gift I have ever received! And I will FOREVER be thankful. This is who I'd like to meet, and one day hopefully I will.If you're not an organ donor please consider it. Your gift of life will never go unappreciated!
