About Me

Extended Network Banner @ http://www.profile-tweak.com/
You have been marked on my profile map! Click to zoom-in. Hey!! I'm Tim Lynk and I'm a singer. I own and run my own fully integrated and well-equipped ProTools recording studio in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. I record, engineer, program and produce full high-end orchestral arrangements including most current western and some ethnic styles and genres. I have recorded various movie soundtrack projects as well as CD albums, demos and voice-overs. I also provide professional standard musical backings or 'playbacks' for vocal artistes and karaoke enthusiasts alike. I achieve wonderful and immediate results from teaching my own uniquely developed style of vocal coaching for singers and public speakers of all skill levels, and each of my students have full access to all of our recording facilities. I am the lead singer and keyboard player in my own professional (and very hot) Function Band - 'THE TIM LYNK BAND', and if you were in Shiga, on the shores of Lake Biwa, near KYOTO, JAPAN on the 18th of November 2006, you were most likely there to see me perform in a well received and fabulous concert with my dear friends DAVE SINCLAIR, NEIL SAUNDERS, CHIZUKO URA and HIDEYUKI SHIMA at the Shuyukan!!! I'm currently gearing up to record the final vocals on Dave Sinclair's next album in DOVER, UK. I've also actually just returned from ENGLAND with another project, where I performed and recorded with my dear friend ANDY KINCH's Band 'PTO' in my original role as his lead singer. You'll already find a couple of the movie clips of the 'PTO' reunion represented right here on this page, and more will be added soon, so keep your eyes peeled for them as they arrive. I am also currently priviledged to receive fairly regular bookings with my Band in SINGAPORE, which is an absolutely beautiful city. .. My Interests

Languages and people groups absolutely fascinate me. Even though English is my 1st language, I still have a passable use of French and Yiddish. I regularly perform songs in French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Yiddish, English and more recently Japanese...

I'd like to meet:

aaaaa aaaaa aaaaa All of the wonderful people who have enriched my life - sadly when you travel around the globe it is all too easy to lose touch with very special people.I'd like to meet Steven Spielberg. His creative, tenacious and generous spirit is a giant inspiration to us all.I'd also like to meet my cat's former owners. Gemma (a.k.a. 'Johnson', 'The Black Thing', or 'It's Back') remains defiantly tight-lipped about that entire former chapter of her life, despite the coaxing I've done with the very cheapest dried cat-food!!! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Music:

I am so very proud of the wonderful ensemble of performers and crew in my own Band 'THE TIM LYNK BAND'. I just have to mention them right at the very start - you guys make such an awesome winning team, keeping it tight, filling the dance floor and keeping it pumping whilst 'WOWING' our audiences wherever we go. No wonder we have such a great name. Let's keep up the good work and continue taking our fun seriously for many more years to come. It really is an enormous business doing pleasure with you!!!!!! Favourite Bands and musical influences? Well... to mention only a few select names, I guess... Pink Floyd, Yes, Peter Green, Paul Rogers, TATA VEGA (the most utterly amazing female singer that I have ever heard in my entire life!!!), Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, DAVE SINCLAIR (An amazing Songwriter and Player - A true inspiration!!), ROX CLAYTON-SCOTT, (looking forward to working with your beautiful voice in Japan during '07) Marcus Bishop, Josh Groban, SUSI MEREDITH (A beautiful voice. Nice girls aren't really supposed to be able to play guitar quite like that!!), Pointer Sisters, Queen, Jack Bruce, Judy Tzuke, Michael Buble, ANDY KINCH (always a remarkable and creative flow - touched my heart in song), Jimi Hendrix, JOHN MURPHY (I can't believe you got that 'riff' to work in that key!!!), Ginger Baker, Earth Wind & Fire, YARON DAFFAN (the quintessential essence of "marching to the beat of a different drum"!), Allan Parsons, Carpenters, The Who, Celine Dion, Curved Air, Margaret Urlich, Focus, The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Deep Purple, The Beatles, The Halley Choir, Gary Moore, Gloria Estefan, Il Divo, Iron Butterfly, John Mayall, Jeff Beck, Kenny Rankin, King Crimson, Led Zepplin, Linda Ronstadt, Men At Work, Nat King Cole, The Bee Gees, Strawbs, Vangelis, Wishbone Ash, Billy Cobham, Abraham Laboriel, Matthew Ward, Phil Keagy, Rick Wakeman, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Fairport Convention, Yehudi Menhuin, Stefan Grapelli, Al Jarreau, Steven Bishop, The Eagles, Mark Knofler, Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David, Moishe Laufer, Chaka Khan, Randy Crawford, Deni Hines, Ravi Shankar, Barber-Shop and Alpine Yodelling (as incredible, though quite bizarre artforms), Mozart, Haydn, Mendlesohn, Purcell, Parry, J.S. Bach and of course the one and only Tamir-Yehuda Ben Avraham

Movies:

Lord Of The Rings, An Affair To Remember, Schindler's List, Total Recall, The Matrix, Superman, The Italian Job, Star Wars, Rapa Nui, Fist Of Fury, Get Carter, Spartan, The Saint, all Marx Brothers films, Braveheart...

Television:

Books:

The Torah and Lord Of The Rings - only one of these books is complete truth and perfection in every hidden dimension, whilst the other is merely a jaw-dropping and amazing human work of inspirational fiction.

Heroes:

The 6 million souls, whose sweet and innocent lives were stolen from us by those who asserted their insane love for death and hatred - may their memories be blessed, and may we all become wiser and more compassionate from the merit of their bitter legacy. Anyone who shows true kindness and compassion when there is no gain for themselves is also to me a hero. Fortunately I am blessed to have people of this calibre in my own life. ..
