About Me

I have been playing music in bands since 1958. Skiffle (tea chest bass) R-n-R (electric bass and drums) and worship, (drums, guitar and singing). I don't pretend to be a singer, but at 66 y/o I still love to sing and play and will continue to do so until I can't. All the above songs were written in the early to mid 80s, with the exception of 'I Have Found The Treasure', which I wrote a couple of years ago. 'ON THE THRONE' is based on the book of Revelation 7vs. 15-17. 'I HAVE FOUND THE TREASURE' was born out of a personal revelation that although we are "clay jars" susceptible to cracks and chips, we have within us a great TREASURE in Jesus and the person of the Holy Spirit. It is important that we can all discern the difference between the treasure and the vessel. Even at those times when the jar is cracked and broken, Jesus says "that's ok, you may not feel worthy, or righteous or even fit to be called a Christian, nevertheless you have the treasure....now just take the treasure to a lost and hurting world". I wrote 'MYSTERY & MAJESTY' 1990 and it was originally published and recorded on an album called 'You Are The One ' in 1994. It was one of those songs that was so easy to write, just a few minutes and it said all I wanted to say.... It was just truth as I saw and felt it at the time...the cross is both mysterious and majestic in its power to transform lives. 'HIS HANDS' was written in the early eighties. It just talks of the hands of Jesus through the various stages of his short life on earth. Our names are not only written in the Lambs book of life but also on the palms of His hands through Calvary.
