About Me

I was born in Widnes, England (near Liverpool), emigrated to Canada in 1982 as nanny (for one year haha), lived in Quebec, Germany and now northern Ontario for past 12 years. I am friendly, outgoing, want to save the World but know there's only One who can do that so I put down the world and my superwoman cape (the Return of Superman movie reminded me of this fact!!). I was a mental health worker at a drop-in center and loved my job but had to quit due to injured shoulder - awaiting 'further orders'!! (have been on the other side of the desk...). My interests are worshipping God, having fun talking with my friends, being a 'clown', watching movies that are suitable for my youngest children. My drum story is: I got myself a Bodhran (had never heard of it or seen one..) 2 Christmases ago after attending a drum worship workshop at women's retreat and then hearing the drum beat in everything and wandering into the music store over and over.... and now play and sing with 2 other ladies in our little group 'Oil of Joy' (we look like the 'odd triple'....). I have never been 'musically gifted, you know can you hum kind of thing, but 'with God ALL things are possible and Im asking Him to help me use the little stick with wrist action.....I usually play with my hand or with one end of the stick..I have problems with my right wrist anyway so it works for now...Funny how God works isn't it??? Never imagined myself on stage with a small group in a 1000 years!!

I'd like to meet:

besides my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, face to face, i would like to meet other people who are on fire for the Lord and want to see His Kingdom established on earth as it is in Heaven.....I will need Eternity to 'talk with all those interesting, amazing people (many unknown now) that I will meet in Heaven, can't wait!!!..
