Draugburz was formed in 2005 by Blodwyrm and E.V.M. during an experiment with hallucinogenic drugs in an old abandoned storage hall of the German railroad company, that they knew a drug addict had been brutally murdered in a few years back. They took an accoustic guitar and a generous supply of mushrooms and tried to recapture the essence of death in that night. After a more than disturbing experience Blodwyrm was forced to undergo stationary therapy for several month, and E.V.M. increased his use of hallucinogens, leading to his mysterious suicide (he didn't leave any note, and didn't give any reasons). After his return to the outside world Blodwyrm decided to revive the project with a more Black Metal sound, re-used many of the riffs he remembered from that strage September night in 2005, and quickly found an eager drummer, Drom. It is yet unclear when the first demo will be finished, so far only the first song "As For My Dying Dreams I Lay The Swans To Rest" (see above) is done, but expect to hear more from Draugburz in the near future..
