HotFreeLayoutsBy His Grace was formed Sept. 8 2005. The praise band came about as a result of a Celebrate Recovery ministry that was implemented at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Starting out primarily as a singing quartet, the only instrument (guitar) was played by Jason Greenlaw. The original lineup for backup vocals consisted of Bob Stough, Brian Stone, Star Mason and Amelia Miguet. The lineup did change up a few times during the first few months of existence but eventually settled with the above five. Most of the songs that were played were cover tunes from other christian contemporary artist. Such as Michael W. Smith, The Tommy Coombs Band, and others. We then implented some originals written by Jason Greenlaw and the song line- up began to not only thicken but become more diverse. The line up would once again change when Amelia Miguet (who is now in college and a member of the Concordia Varsity Choir) would devote her time and obligation to the High School Choir that she was a member of and would eventually perform at Ground Zero in New York City. We miss you and are all proud of you! With By His Grace being a final quartet, that consisted of Jason Greenlaw-guitar, vocals. Brian Stone, Star Mason, and Bob Stough all on backup vocals. It came the time where the band had to settle in and really start pumping out the tunes. During this time period, Brian was lead to become a bass player, so he did. He brought a whole new sound to the band and a new inspiration to all of us. The Celebrate Recovery ministry lasted eight months. Even though, the ministry dissolved in that church, By His Grace stayed together and during this transition. Bob, was lead to play the drums! And anyone who has ever heard him play would know that it was his calling. With Bob on drums, and Brian's bass playing ever increasingly getting better. By His Grace began to sound like a true Praise Band! Change would come again with the stepping down of Star Mason, she was lead to be more dedicated and devoted to her family and the youth group she heads at the church. Star will always be a member of By His Grace and we all miss you! For the first time the band became a trio and was offered a new opportunity to lead praise and worship at a new founded Celebrate Recovery ministry located in Beebe, AR at the First Baptist Church. Its kick-off was August 21, 2006. We are thankful to Diane for giving us the opportunity to kick off that event with her and would be obliged to play there anytime! The Celebrate Recovery Ministry in Beebe and all over the nation will always be in our prayers. Fast-Forward a couple of months, Star Mason rejoined By His Grace along with it's newest member Mr. David Parish who has been a true blessing to us all. We have recently recorded a new six song EP that will be available for retail in early 2007. Featuring songs like Christ And His Love, By His Grace, No Time, My God and more! The EP was recorded by Chad E. Skabronski of the Chad E. Band. Thanks Chad for your hard work and dedication to this project! The band has also been very busy with shows in the local area, including Searcy, Batesville, and Beebe. You never know when we will be in your town next! When God opens a door no man can close it. Also, when God closes a door, no man can open it. The Lord has blessed us all so much from the time this band was formed to now, it's still hard to believe sometime. He has made us all better Christians and better musicians from our hard work and dedication. And obedience! Glory be to God for what He has done and is going to do. So we encourage the world through our music to Let Go and Let God! We did and look what happened! So should you!
