Who?
So my names Chris Garrott, I'm 20 years old, engaged, unemployed and living the musician's dream. I write, perform, record and mix down all my own material. Unfortunately I do use an electronic drum kit, so I do apologise for the drum sounds on all the tracks, other than that it's all good.
The Story So Far...
I started performing a long, long time ago. I won back-to-back "Battle Of The Bands" awards with "Open To Suggestion" which was a casual high-school band, playing classics such as "Paranoid" and "Black Dog" back in 2003 and 2004. Following that success, I went on to do a number of gigs with "White Lie", playing original material, heavily influenced by the likes of Incubus, Oasis and Him. Then I went on to form "Solitary Vice", who were saved from me having to make a performance.
What Now?
I'm currently still working on my debut release "Transparent Obscurity". Several tracks have been written and recorded, but I'm holding out for a while, so I can gather a good variety of tracks to complete an epic album. I expect it'll be ready late in 2008. Enjoy the tracks here in the meantime. I have also recently formed a band called (Untitled), we're in the process of writting and recording.
What Other Sites Are There?
I do have a pure volume site with a few songs on it, and theres going to be a proper website up and running before too long, as well. In the meantime though, thanks for all your support.
