About Me

My name is Sharon and I'm 66 years young. I've lived in Oceanside since 1981. Oceanside is considered San Diego North County. I was born and raised however in Detroit, Michigan.Just like many people I have a little extra baggage that I'm trying to get rid of.If you are looking for a trophy girl that's not me, I am considered nice looking and I keep myself looking nice at least I think so. I can dress up when needed, but I also like to do the casual thing since I work full time.I have a great love of family as mine is very large. I've raise 7 children, and they are all grown, married and with families of their own, even some of my grandchildren are married with children, so believe me when I say my family with extended family is very large.I like going places and doing things, however I also enjoy some layed back time to just listen to music, read a book, see a play or concert etc. I also enjoy time with family. cartoon layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com

My Interests

I have a great variety of interests in music, books, movies etc. When I have spare time I enjoy doing all types of crafts, as well as reading. Of course my greatest interest is my family and friends I travel every year to Tennessee to see family, however I think I would like to do a little traveling in the next couple of years.

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking for friendship at this point of life. I'm very independent. I still work full time as an administrative secretary and I've been with the same company for the last 14 years. I'd like to meet someone who has a love of family and friends.

Music:

Good Music, Oldies & Goodies, Country, Rock & Roll from the 50's & 60's, some classical. I also enjoy music from movies.

Movies:

Old movie classics. I love the old Musicals, westerns, and I like the good Mafai type movies. I also like a good Sci-Fi movie. I like The Godfather, The Last Don, and I really enjoyed Bella Mafia. There are some good new movies out that that I enjoyed like The Lakehouse, The Sentinel, Take the Lead etc. I usually don't go to the movies I just wait until they come out on DVD.

Television:

When I watch TV I watch all of the Law & Order Series, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, House and Grey Anatomy, CSI etc. However I don't get to much time to watch TV with working full time. Once in awhile I watch a game show or one of the court shows. I also enjoy the Discovery Channel, HGTV and Animal Planet as well.

Books:

I enjoy reading Bio's or really anything of interest WHEN I get a chance to read which is not as much as I'd like.

Heroes:

My heros are anyone who helps others like our Military Forces, Police and Fire Departments etc. Of course my dad was my hero as with most girls where their dads are concerned.
