I'll sing my heart out for you...

About Me

A musician from a very early age, a true Texas Talent. Alma has lived thru-out Texas and most recently makes her home in Corpus Christi. She sang for many years in Dallas in places like Marty's Wine Bistro, Parigis, The Dream Cafe, and the Sonoma Grill and Bar (in Flower Mound). She has performed a few times in NYC at the Baggot Inn and the Back Fence (where she was booked on the spot after her audition). She has also been a musical participant in the North Texas New Music Festival, the Bean Stock Music Festival, and was a finalist in the Dallas and Austin Lillith Faires. She created the successful children's music entertainment show - Lollipop Palooza the Kid's Show which ran for many years at the Dream Cafe. She writes her own songs, but can be heard performing songs by Linda Ronstact, Heart, Blondie, Bonnie Raitt, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Seal, the Eagles, the Beatles, James Taylor, the Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, Elton John, Burt Bacharach, Fleetwood Mac, Juanes, Johnny Cash, CSNY, Shania Twain, Selena, and many, many more...over 350 more songs! The things she loves about living in Corpus Christi on North Beach are the wildlife, the sea, the research done at TAMU CC, the local history, quirky people, and the weather. She loves singing at Joe's Crab Shack, Cafe Calypso, Yin Yang Fandango, Blacksbeards Too, the Compass Restaurant in Port A, the award winning Nuevo Cafe, Moby Dick's in Port A, and Expresso.com. She is currently regularly singing every weekend at the Beach and Station Sreet Grillin Port Aransas and is very excited about this new association with this great restaurant run by the most unique and wonderful Island people she says she's ever met. and invites everyone to come on out and have a good time! I moved to Port A last week and am still in the process of unpacking and organizing too much stuff for too little space. I can't wait to get out and about and explore this great place very soon.

Both these bands have great original sounds...And overall, there are many more...including musical sounds made by machines, animals, the elements, and other unearthly entities....
Politically - I admire Kinky Friedman for being who he is and not being afraid to be who he is and for speaking his mind from his heart...
