About Me

Hey people welcome to my myspace!!! Well a little about me, who I am and what I believe. I'm creative, goal oriented, and athletic. I'm a reasonably attractive and confident man, I am divorced with two wonderful, beautiful daughters, a challenging career which I am pretty good at, and a quirky but nice personality. I'm funny, silly, witty, intelligent, serious when necessary, sometimes a dork (some would say would say most of the time...but hey what do my friends know, after all they hang out with me..LOL!!!!!), fairly well educated, my family and friends know that I can be counted on. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world, I have been to every continent except Antarctica (I don't think I'll go there ...LOL). I have a personal relationship with God; I don't usually talk much about my faith but it is in my heart and soul. I like to dress well, I am well groomed, and physically fit from over 20 years of regular exercise, I have managed to keep that up ever since my college days. I have a Harley Davidson that I don't ride nearly enough but love it when I do....nothing clears my head better than a ride in the mountains or along a coastal highway. I love my home state of California...it is so beautiful, diverse, and full of character. From the arid yet beautiful deserts (except the summer), to the green forested wild flowered meadows of the mountains to the incredibly productive central valley, the unique cities and the sandy or rocky coasts. I love cultural diversity, I think it is the future salvation of the human race. California is the crystal ball and incubator for what the rest of the country will eventually be like, the trends start here and move inwards to the heartland. I am sure not all will agree with me but that's my opinion. I like to hit the gym 4-5 times per week (it also clears my head), I like to eat well and I am adventurous when it comes to food, fine wine, a 2-martini buzz (this really clears my head...LOL!), a Cohiba or an Arturo Fuentes cigar, a medium well ribeye steak, sushi, Thai, fried chicken (yeah baby! comfort food!), baked cheetos, a Premium Light Heineken, chocolate shakes, a fresh cut crispy watermelon in the field on a cool morning, fruit and nuts right off the tree, mocha frappacinos. I love the beach, the mountains, movies, concerts, art museums, and sunsets. I can be a good friend and will drop everything to help a friend and give them the shirt off my back. I have about 3 really good friends, 2 pretty good friends + one jewel of a brother and many, many acquaintances around the world that I have met through business, Rotary, my community service ties, my NFL & fantasy football pals, the gym, Harleys and bikers (both real and wannabe), and the occasional foray into nightlife at our many hot spots in Imperial Valley...LOL, I think there are 1.75 hot spots if you combine them all!! I'm not really into clubbing and although I will occasionally go to a bar for a drink, it's not something I do on a regular basis. I would rather have a nice dinner, a drink, or share some wine and a movie with friends. I really dislike or should I say disapprove of gossips, backstabbers, liars, heavy drinkers, illegal substance users, people who are overly materialistic, negative, prejudiced, biased, and basically people of low moral character. On the other hand, who am I to judge? I will just pick my friends and acquaintances carefully. I try to respect others and expect to be respected although I am as guilty of making an error in judgment as the next guy, I€™m far from perfect. I am a one woman man, never have been a player and never will be. I believe in long term relationships, for family, for business, for friendship, and for love. I give my relationships my all and I expect the same in return. I do not believe in using people for your own purposes, unfortunately many people do that even if it is subconsciously. An intelligent person will realize thier shortcomings and work to correct them, but even the most intelligent insightful person cannot change the way they were brought up and the way that their upbringing influences the way they go about living their lives. A person brought up with racial, religious or sexual prejudices may be aware that their prejudice is wrong but yet still subconsciously harbor prejudiced feelings that they cannot seem to change....but if they will try to do the right thing it can make a difference for everyone they touch. Don't bring up your children to hate but rather to see the good in people, (but with an awareness that there is still evil in the world) if everyone will do this the world will eventually be a better place. "Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people." That's all I can think of to say for now but drop by again as this site is continuously updated as time goes by.

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

Movies:

I love movies...The Godfather I & II, & Chinatown are my all time favorites, James Bond flicks even if they are kinda cheesy, anything with Al Pacino, Robert Deniro, Paul Newman, Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, or Christopher Walken, Heat, Goodfellas, The Deerhunter, Braveheart, Cool Hand Luke, Hud!, Young Frankenstein, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Dancing With Wolves, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, L.A. Television:

I usually only watch movies; I do listen to the news while getting dressed in the morning, occasionally catch Leno, Conan, or Letterman while winding down at night, and some sports, every now and then I will come across something interesting but I seldom have time to just sit and watch. I like Seinfeld and Frasier but hardly ever get a chance to watch. Christopher Walken as "Mr. Continental" on Saturday Night Live is classic!!!! I have caught a few episodes of Nip/Tuck, that show is pretty crazy!

Books:

I have read hundreds of books, I always have a book going! Personal favs are the works of Hemingway, Fitzgerald and the modern writings of Clancy, Ludlum, and Grisham...actually have read a lot of Stephen King's too. I love fiction!Psalm 23 - The Psalm of a Warrior - A psalm of David.1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
