WHO IS PIGBWOY? Recording Artist, Producer, Remixer and Live Performer David Coker.AKA: In various guises and with various conspirators in different positions, WUBBLE-U, HOUSEY DOINGZ, SMART ALEX, FUTON, COLES AND COKER, PRAHA 2.0, DOODLEBUGZ, GET FUCKED and so on ad infinitum….THE STORY SO FAR: Born and educated in South East London. Released first 12” inch 1992 (A side: Belmondo - “Be With You”, AA side: Strange Weather – “Infinite”). Signed to Go!Discs as Wubble-U in1994. Changed labels to Indolent (BMG RCA) in 1996. Released “Petal” to huge critical acclaim, reaching top 5 UK dance chart, and top 50 UK national chart. Played Glastonbury Dance Tent in 1997. Wubble-U also sneaked a track onto the “Café del Mar – Volume 1” compilation under the pseudonym Ver Vlads. Throughout the nineties released over 100 12” singles and several albums under different names (see above), including seminal Tech House pioneers Housey Doingz, Get Fucked and Smart Alex. Moved to Bangkok in 2001. Co-founded electro rock band Futon, releasing two albums, “Never Mind The Botox” (2003) and “Lovebites” (2005). Toured around the world, including Tokyo, Singapore, Berlin, London, Hanoi, Kathmandu and Shanghai.
