About Me

HOUSEY DOINGZ MYSPACE BIOGHOUSEY DOINGZ: FIVE GO MAD IN SOUTH LONDON Crazy name, crazy guys…. The ‘Doingz are an occasional collective creative unit and highly active drinking club. The five collaborators, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Justin Bailey, Laurant Webb and David Coker have between them released several hundred dance tracks under various guises over the last 14 years. United by a common love of underground club music and a fierce belief in the original spirit of Acid House, they all met at the hedonistic Release warehouse parties in the late eighties. Nathan was a co-founder of these legendary all-nighters, and Terry one of its earliest DJs. Their first studio effort, “Brothers” was released on Grass Green / Bush Recordings in 1994. Their pioneering sound, eventually labelled “Tech House”, was highly influential on the British underground club scene. Several EPs have followed over the years (see the discography below) on various labels, culminating in the “Doing It” album released by Pagan in 1998. Housey Doingz meets sporadically to create consistently brilliant dance floor fillers when the member’s hectic schedules allow.BACK TO THE FUTURE Housey Doingz’ entire catalogue will be available online for the first time in the very new future.
