Myspace LayoutsAimee was born in Sydney and started singing and dancing at the age of four and continued in both until the age of ten doing talent quest and performing at various venues.Her family moved to Gladstone Queensland when she was ten and this is where she developed her love for Country Music. Joining the Calliope Country Music Club was a chance for her to learn about country music festivals, and other clubs. Traveling throughout North and Central Queensland, Aimee competed in various talent quests and performed at various venues. Aimee won numerous talent quests giving her the chance to compete in the Queensland Champion of Champions in 1998, and then back again for 1999.A great opportunity came Aimees way thanks to the Calliope Country Music Club nominating her to be support act for Lee Kernaghan at his Hat Town tour in August 1999 at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre. This is an experience Aimee will never forget.Aimee also lived in Victoria for a short while and in this time Aimees reputation grew, earning her the chance to sing at the Mayoral Annual Concert in 2001 to raise money for there community.Aimee and her family have now returned to Sydney and she has also started playing guitar, thanks to her Uncle Paul getting her started. Aimee feels very lucky to once again join another Country Music Club which have both supported and encouraged her, and she would like to thank the Macarthur Country Music Club for everything they have done and are doing in helping her to further her love for country music. In joining hands with Macarthur Country Music club, Aimee has been given the opportunity to perform with them at various events and fundraisers. Aimee is a competent vocalist/ multi-instrumentalist (Playing the guitar, banjo, mandolin and keyboard)
