About Me

These four men: Father Ragheed Ganni, and Deacons Basman Yousef Daud, Wahid Hanna Isho, Gassan Isam Bidawed, were MURDERED on June 3rd, 2007, after celebrating Sunday Mass. May God have mercy on them and keep them with Him in heaven, so that these good martyrs may pray for the Christians of IRAQ, and for the end of this terrible war.
THE CHALDEAN/BABYLONIAN PEOPLE ARE THE DESCENDANTS OF THE ANCIENT SUMERIANS, AKKADIANS, AND ARAMAEANS OF MESOPOTAMIA/IRAQ. WE ARE THE ORIGINAL INHABITANTS OF IRAQ WE HAVE EXISTED THERE FOR MORE THAN 7307 YEARS. WE WERE DIRECTLY TAUGHT CHRISTIANITY BY SAINT THOMAS THE APOSTLE WHO FOUNDED OUR CHURCH. OUR COUSIN NATIONS ARE THE ASSYRIANS, SYRIACS, AND MARONITES. WE SPEAK ARAMAIC, THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS CHRIST.
We have been a minority in our own country and we have been persecuted for our faith since the eighth century. Since the War of Iraq in 2003, our people has been targets for terrorists and insurgents to kill and kidnap. The American government barely recognizes that our people exist in Iraq, and have not helped us resist Extremist Islam. I intend to show that our people need help and all kinds of Christians should support our dying 2000 year old church. Before the War In Iraq, our population in Iraq was one million, now there are less than 600,000 still there, because we have resettled in other countries as diaspora.
PLEASE KEEP THE CHALDEAN, ASSYRIAN, AND SYRIAC PEOPLE IN YOUR PRAYERS!
