About Me

Announcements:
Anyone want to hire me for part time admin work?
Critical Mass is the last Friday of every month, Woodruff Park, 6 pm. More info at www.criticalmassatlanta.org
Generally:
Bus Hugger AND Train Groupie Frustrated office manager for just 4 more weeks Wannabe Soon-to-be actual grad student Member of Citizens for Progressive Transit , the best thing to happen to Atlanta since the Civil Rights movement. Progressive liberal who is frustrated with the Democratic party and disappointed by most career politicians. Hopeless optimist intent on saving the world, preferably while having something resembling a life. Or at least a half-life. You'll usually find me riding my bike around town with my cell phone headset tucked into my helmet. Just don't try to cut me off, unless you're biking too. I love Atlanta, but the segregation, discrimination, and backwards public policies are making me crazy.

This space was pimped by me! Yeah, it's a work in progress. Stay tuned! And in exchange for alcoholic beverages, I'll help you with yours.

My Interests

Trams, trains, streetcars, buses, and bicycles!
Hiking. My 120lb lap dog. Politics. My boyfriend. Home repair. Participatory Action Research.

I'd like to meet:

1. All the people I lost touch with from my high school and college (yay, making good progress!! I found Nomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)
2. The transit agencies, planners, and elected officials who will make this happen:

beach wanderings

In spite of the sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, and sand-in-the-shorts syndrome, the ocean is completely addictive to me.  Technically, it's a really hostile environment - no shelter, no potable wa...
