drawing, painting, the computer...cooking is a great passion of mine, although i havent mastered baking...lots of cookies have gone to waste in my kitchen.
i am a decorator by trade so i tend to do that on occasion and i still plan on being a make-up artist either for theater or for photography...
I'd like to meet:
hmmm..anyone, everyone...im a big people person, reserved but in no way shy like i used to be. i love people, and anything fun.
Music:
i can stand any type of music...but im not a huge fan of hard rock, heavy metal or country...
i am a huge fan of the 80's, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seager, and basicaly anything you can dance to.(i have been known to dance, but very rarely)
my favorite songs of all time are "Turn The Page" by Bob Seager (or Metalica, they did a great re-make), "Taste" by Lorna Vallings and "Color Me Once" by Violent Femmes.
I've also become partial to my cousin-in-law's vocals- such beautiful music. (Chris Alvarado)
Movies:
geez, more like what movies dont i like?
i love anything mystery, action, comedy or drama...anything bloody and gory, bring it on...although when i was pregnant, i threw up watching "House of 1000 Corpses" but i have no problems now..lol
Natural Born Killers and Fast Times at Ridgemont High have to be among my favorites...
Television:
not really interested in TV shows...although i can recite the theme song to Teletubbies like no tomorrow...that and Barney-its sad but wow where would i be without those shows!!
...but on a good night, when theres nothing else to do i like watching Scrubs or My name is Earl(cuz if you know me at all, i love to laugh), House, CSI, Greys Anatomy, Law and Order SVU, Crossing Jordon, Las Vegas...wow, i guess i do watch TV,lol.
Books:
Rosemary's baby, Wuthering Heights, anything classic...im also a huge V.C. Andrews fan...although i cant remember the last time i read anything, well anything fun.
I also am totaly in love with the works of Kahlil Gibran...beautiful work and reminds me of my sister...
Heroes:
my sister, April (77-97), was a great role model...although she had her moments, she taught me to be ME, to do anything, and gave me a great sence of worth at the worst times in my life. She will always be remembered.
