About Me

Jorge also know as CRUZZ. Sign: Libra Born and raised in Santiago Chile. Many factors come together when it comes describing my passion for house music. But one would have to be the first in the list. My Family. My family and their diverse exposure for different musical genres. From the sounds of the folklore from the north area of Chile, to my grandfather playing the clarinet, to my beloved mother signing songs from “the platters” on an old 45 record, to watching my aunt and uncle practice for a disco competition, to my introduction to salsa and meregue, to shivers I get when I hear gospel music.I came into the house scene in the late 80’s. While in school at the Art Institute of Ford Lauderdale, some Kats from the Virginia area introduced me to vocal house music. Then back in Boston, found a shelter at Axis Nightclub, one of the local venues on Tuesday nights. Here I met the people who would influence my passion for dancing and spinning even more.I love House Music simply because it takes me to a level where I’m the only one dancing on the floor. I love House Music simply because there’s a unity of races moving to one sound, yet expressing their movement in totally different ways. “We all speak the same language on the dance floor.”I love House Music simply because of my two biggest fans: my wife Candice and my son Gabriel
