About Me

Keeping It Peel is a one-night-only celebration of Kettering's growing music scene, in the name of the late great inspirational John Peel. In the truest Peel style, it will be a night of eclecticism, diversity and open mindedness.It is an idea formed by friends to join together Kettering's burgeoning music scene, from fans to bands, through promoters, DJs, artists, independent record stores and music lovers alike.The night is Thursday October 12th - John Peel Day - when gigs will be happening all around the country in tribute to the man who spent his life dedicated to introducing unconventional music whilst being a bloody nice bloke.We hope you will join us for this special night.

This is a non-profit event and any money raised outside of running costs will go to John Peel's family to use as they wish.

Bands! We are not John Peel! We are just a bunch of mates who put on a night in Kettering to honour the great man, and much as we'd love to be, we are not John Peel. So due to this and obvious circumstance it is unlikely we can get you airplay. Feel free to check out some of the bands Kettering has to offer while you're here of course.
