I have uploaded some Mixed Tapes I created via this link D.J. KiDAcE This is a new development as of 3-24-07 and is currently still under destruction so come back in a few hours....I still need to record, review the recording to make sure it isn't too saturated, under toned, etc. Just letting you know it is me.....
Here is the link to any mixes available. This is permanent hosting (I think I read right). All mixes will now be full quality and I fixed the over saturated 2001 Session #1. It's the only one on....for now. I have to re record ALL of them once again....only now I don't have to worry about sizes due to quality. Recent as of 7-27-07.
You are reading about D.J. KiDAcE A.K.A. Michael Keyes. No, I did not name myself that I was given that name by a lot of people. I liked it so it stuck. There is a lot that I can say but, I choose to tell you this:
Cards in suit and order for a specific reason: DON'T BITE!
I grew up in Pomona (East Los Angeles)....until age 10 then we moved to Rialto (San Bernardino County) until 19. Then we moved to Ontario (on the boarder of L.A. County and San Bernardino County...the Inland Empire and lived there for a half year...or less. Now I'm??? HA! Underground again!
I started walking and talking at an earlier age than average. My first steps were to run, yeah I fell but I also picked myself up before anyone could get to me...been walking ever since. I have been using computers since the age of 2. I was able to swim at the age of 2...in fact I was in competition swimming. In school I excelled and was way above the average. I had a college grade reading level in 3rd grade and was answering more questions correctly than my mom for her L.V.N. tests (nurse). I had a high degree of logic and problem solving skills so thus I was given an I.Q. test and as a result was placed in G.A.T.E. (Gifted And Talented Education) classes. I was offered a couple chances to skip grades but declined (regret that) because I wanted to stay with my peers. I was even offered a chance in college before I hit high school, declined (regret that too). It was all for the better in the long run though. Looking back on it I'd be living a totally different life and probably never would have met the girl of my dreams...Miss E.L.
Some things I skipped (not in chronological order). I used to teach the classes on stuff the teachers couldn't explain well...those were cool teachers here's some: Ms. Fuqa, Mr. Murphy, and Ms. Wygant. Ms. Fuqa respected my vast knowledge. Mr. Murphy got me hooked on wanting to learn about space, blackholes, the universe, and the big bang. Ms. Wygant let me launch a rocket (actually I set it up but let others launch it) because we were doing rocket science and I fully grasped it and explained how it works. She also did a simulation of stocks and bonds with real companies but fake money. I was in 2nd or 3rd with making the most money in the class. This was all in elementary school. One of my greatest achievements was in high school. Passing a 200 question test in an A.P. - H.P. biology class with 120 minutes and scored 100%. The first to do so in I believe he said 8 years...and I didn't even study for it! The funniest part (to me), he thought I couldn't do it because I didn't do my homework. I always excelled in the science field that was and still is my speciality. I hate (really hate) math however when in high school I went from Algebra II in 9th Geometry in 10th forget what I took in 11th then I know I skipped geometry II, calculus, trig, and went to physics in 12th grade...got a C average...not bad for skipping fundementals and hating math. I studied Spanish with every elective class I got from Chicano studies to the language itself...since middle school. I even took German. Although since I rarely see it, hear it, or speak it I forgot most of it...I can still count and say fick du! After high school I went to trade school to reinforce my credability in P.C. knowledge. I can build one if I have all the parts, network them, fix MOST crashes...even if caused by a virus (SOME are just too destructive), program to a small degree, can tell what most scripts (VB, VBScript, ASP, Java) are doing by reading them except C that's a lot of memory allocation and math, can do graphics and web design, have cracked a L.A.N. using Novell (I can brag about that one because it was a semi-controlled environment) and locked out an entire school. My dad was sysop but he messed up by giving 2 people that were from DeVry full administrator rights so I used a script to collect directory info (they didn't know) then all I had to do was crack the password (which I did!). It was funny watching Willy and Niousha trying to login!! It was funnier when my dad tried to login. My dad has extensive knowledge in computers since afterall he programmed for the government when computers were as big as buildings and had power plants next to them. He also programmed with Bill Gates @ G.E. Actually it's vise versa since my dad was there first. Anyway I didn't know my dad called in a C.N.E. (Certified Novell Engineer) to use the backdoor method and these guys cost like $10,000 an hour...so I told my dad I did it, he didn't believe me until I gave him the password to login. Thank God that guy also needed to do something else to the network. I think my dad was pretty pissed but amazed at the same time...he thought I had no knowledge in Novell.
Other stuff: I collect gems, like strategy games, create encryption methods, try to solve how to travel at superphoto speeds, study the art of war although I hate the fact people die because of it, am very competitive, I want to learn, learned self-defense both by schooling and from the streets (the school of hard knocks). I create music on my P.C. (got my own unique bass kicks and everything [unreleased]), mix, scratch, and cut "Hard House", Trance, and Hardcore records for fun; also break beats and sample tracks (was so good at it that's how I earned my name), and try to find ways to make money the legit way.
I was part of a party crew called Common Sense Ent. We were small in size but we took over the Inland Empire of Southern California by storm; the underground way! Everything changed with a party called "Are You Known" an invite to all party crews in SoCal. We were voted best crew for being around for 2 years or less...and we didn't even attend. Then we started getting magazine coverage by Industry Insider Magazine (now just Insider Magazine) and we even made the news; FOX 11 Undercover for having the wildest parties. We totally blew up then! Our crew was small in size but now huge in stature. I remember one party there must have been 250 people there (for a house party) I was throwing down the mix after chuging some Jose Quervo to calm my nerves and then all I heard was the crowd chanting "Kid Ace...Common Sense...Kid Ace...Common Sense" and was blown away. They cut me off and I got a little mad until they said it was to hook up more subs and a more powerfull amplifier! Then I spun the hell out of my records and threw down a scratch sequence that had everyone jumping...FUN! Needless to say we were all about business and making money so we started throwing parties at public places like warehouses, and clubs that could hold more people and be secure from police...we saw a shitload of them and the knew us very well...they knew me by both names KiDAcE and my real name, a true ball buster. Then we started to partially own a club "Club Good Times" (in Pomona) and attracted 2 major radio stations (KPWR A.K.A. Power 106 from L.A. and 99.1 KGGI from the I.E.) and a record store; the one I got my records from "Soundwave Records". For those of you that don't know, Power 106 D.J.'s included "Tony B!", Richard "Humpty" Vission, "LA Rok", "D.J. Michael Trance", and guests (on the radio) "Tony B!" showed up to mix along with "The Big Ass Bus" on our grand opening. 99.1 provided "D.J. Lynwood" on one occasion if I can remember correctly. It was sooo cool to be in that environment. I met a lot of people in the music industry...some had radio shows, owned clubs in Mexico, spun at clubs, and some even went on to press their own records...D.J. Passion from Soundwave Records and D.J. Cazel to name 2. We always had more D.J.'s than we had time for them to mix so it was competition for the tables. If every D.J. spun that showed up to our parties and B.B.Q.'s we'd have a 10 hour party if they spun for half an hour. We'd always run out of beer too and we'd have like 2-5kegs some 18 packs and $1 shots (depending on the party and the location). We were known for actually having this stuff and not bullshitting around like some crews. I was the main D.J. from our crew because I was the first. Then there was "D.J. Fern" and "Fingerbang". There was intense and stiff competition from other D.J.'s and that kept me honing my skills. Then I started to work at a local record shop (Empire Records). I made no money due to an asshole boss that dicked me over but screw it that's taken care of...I spread my name, my style, and had access to tons of records, time well spent! It's great to have people I didn't know come up to me in the malls and say something along the lines of "Are you D.J. KiDAcE?" I'd be like "Yeah, why?" "Cuz man you rocked my world at that party the other night." That's an awesome feeling!!
Everything else is classified as "Top Secret"! All I can say is our family is a family of inventors and we're real good too. LangComp....is my pet project for now. That's no secret it's been demonstrated, HOW it works is the secret.
