About Me

“Chameleons In Disguise” is the second CD from Rullian, a California-based all-instrumental fusion band.
The music on ”Chameleons in Disguise" is more symphonic than Rullian’s debut release, “Is This My Guitar Or An Albatross.” The new hour-plus CD is structured like a concept album, although any story behind the songs is hidden behind various spoken word mixed in throughout the CD’s 27 tracks.
“Chameleons In Disguise” is not meant to be a guitar showcase. By focusing on arrangement and structure, the songs play like sonic journeys with each track picking up the plot like scenes from a movie.
Although the guitar is the driving instrument in many of the songs, piano, viola, violin and percussion play a much larger role in “Chameleons In Disguise.” The result is an orchestrated, layered sound which was described by one reviewer as "sonic ruminations melded and orchestrated into joyful, often playful, songs."
Sounds interesting, doesn't it?
