So, here at home on my day off, I decided to do a little .. research to see who are the "popular kids" of MySpace inclusive of Nashville's rock royalty.

This CD is very well produced. From what I was told, it was mostly Rex working on his computer, studio time with the individual band members and something about a mattress being stood up on it's end.

About a year ago I noticed that Gregg Langford had a new signature to his posts. It said “Zero to Sixty” in addition to his usual "left".

Last month I attended the Local Buzz Myspace Mixer 6 at the Gibson Showcase at Opry Mills. It was my first “Mixer” experience and I think I picked a good night to be initiated.

fORMER is a band out of Murfreesboro, TN. Their music is lighter than what I normally listen to... no growling, no screaming, no insane drumming speed. Just an all-around good ol' "Pop-Rock" band is how I'd label them. (MORE)

The band Overzealous IS a group of zealots. The three-piece of Dustin Sellers, Brad Crittendon and Tim Adler sound fanatical about 90’s alternative rock. In the tradition of Weezer’s doo-wop, Ben Folds’ piano, Filter’s anger and Matthew Sweet’s tenderness, they have created songs fit for a time warp. (MORE)
