Philip Chedid

For the past few years, Philip has been developing a new electronic artist. His roots hail from Lebanon, and now he resides in Miami, Florida. His passion in electronica dates to when he was a boy. His music career began as a percussionist in grade school, and later rocked it with Elemental, and band he formed with close friends from high school. In 2000, he entered the world of DJ, when he picked up his first set of Technics. During the same time, he began experimenting with digital production, both in his studio work and in live DJ sets. Since 2002, he has established residencies in Atlanta, Miami, and Montreal. In early 2006, Philip initiated his new musical venture, Vektra Recordings. In addition to music production, Philip is also attending graduate school in Miami. His newly acclaimed and highly anticipated online mix show, Vektra FM, is soon to hit internet airwaves. Philip is expected to release his first set of of singles on Beatport in 2007. Look out for future releases by Philip Chedid, part of a legendary breed of upcoming artists in the next dance generation.
