Egill Guðmundsson

Egill was born in 1981. He studied music at the Music school of Sigursveinn D. Kristinsson where his teachers were among others Örn Magnússon and John Speight.In the spring of 2005 Egill graduadet with a BS degree in marine biology from the University of Iceland. In the fall the same year he began studying composition at the Icelandic academy of the arts.His works have been performed for example at the Reykjavík festival of sacred arts and Dark music days.
