About Me

Born June 28, 1988 in Boston, Massachusetts came a young aspiring rapper named C-Notes. The music industry has not been able to handle rap artists of Massachusetts in the best of ways. You can see that from artists such as Benzino former co-owner of the Source Magazine and member of Boston's legendary rap group Made Men and The Almighty RSO. Benzino's beef with Dr. Dre's artist Eminem might have put a dent into the way people have put there eye on Boston, but C-Notes is ready to change that. C-Note's is only eighteen years old and is ready to take the music industry by storm. Right now you might be asking your self why should C-Note's be the one to change the view on Boston or put it on the map without being laughed at. But why not? C-Notes is still fresh and young, has major co-signs (The Game's Black Wall Street, Streetsweepers, and many more), makes powerful music at a agressive and cocky stand point at one, and last and most important C-Note's knows how to formulate songs. Right now in C-Note's career he has a buzz coming out of Boston, Massachusetts from his street demo "Crown Me Next" and his fourth quarter of 2006 mixtape "Pray On My Downfall" hosted by Nu Jerzey Devil of The Game's Black Wall Street, DJ Radio of Kay Slay's Streetsweepers (Justo Faison's 2006 Mixtape Rookie of The Year), DJ Maverik of Boston's Jam'n 94.5 FM, and DJ Money Bags. Since C-Note's released his street demo "Crown Me Next" he linked up and got in touch with allot of people. He has future plans on working on mixtapes with Kay Slay, DJ Big Mike, and DJ Green Lantern to name a few. C-Note's chooses to gain his buzz through the mixtapes because that is where he is getting the most love; through the streets with allot of big features and heavy co-signs to come. He has chosen to pick up the mixtape route which has worked for artists such as 50cent, G-Unit, Papoose, and many more until he is picked up by the majors. Before C-Note's was into music he was running the streets. If he was never tought not to run these streets he would have been dead or in jail. Three months before the release of "Crown Me Next" C-Notes was arrested in Cambridge for possesion of crack-cocaine, intent to distribute, school zone, and drug traffic. In result they gave him a two years suspended sentence because it was his first offense. C-Notes always had this name since he was fifteen running the streets but they called him Fat Boy in his neighborhood in Codman Square. Fat Boy was the name he was given by an old high school friend in 10th grade; which was the same name that was given to the police by an informant in Cambridge, Massachusetts. C-Note's was not your typical kid on the block. He did not always stay in the same place he choose to move all around to network so he could get money in different places. All of that came to an end though so C-Note's decided to use his experience on the street in making music....Hopefully this time C-Notes can get some positive reults.Freestyle ©2007
