About Me

Clubfungus started as an electronic project of Tilo and Doro in 2001. The tracks for the first electronic release "Human Sushi" can still be downloaded on their website Clubfungus . A year later, after making "Bitter Tears" - a goth metal parody - together with Dome, Doro's brother, the two decided that it's much more fun to play real instruments . So they started to integrate guitars in their songs. The electronic influence lessened over the following two years and finally Tilo and Doro decided to work on the next tracks as The Dross , together with Dome on guitars.
Clubfungus is not dead, but functions as a kind of "label" which joins the different projects Tilo, Dome and Doro work on, even though The Dross is the one all three concentrate on at the moment.
Tilo's other project, nemcon , can be fond in our friends' list as well as Dome's Syndicate City . Doro's Nice Boots doesn't have an own site, but maybe she'll work on it again in about 10 years.
At the moment the three are looking for a drummer and a second guitarist so that they can work on new songs in "real time" and get new influences. But whoever joins them, their musical direction will always be Progressive Pop!
