In 1989, Shana Petrone's "I Want You" Single ripped through the charts to become a Billboard-top-40 hit that to this day is still played on the radio and dowloaded as ring-tones.Shana was discovered after singing a song in a recording booth at a local fair. She was quickly signed to Vision records and released the album and hit single "I Want You" a short time later. Reaching the top-10 in many markets across the nation this single ironically launched Shana while also preparing her for the difficult road ahead with recording labels.After almost 10 years off Shana resurfaced with Sony Records in the late 90's after a long absence to collect her vision. Shana Petrone was a fixture on CMT and radio stations across the USA to promote her new album.Shana now has been writing and singing to prepare for her next venture all on her own, away from the confines of recording labels.
