Biography
Human Adams is an electronic music producer, sound engineer and a fan of electronica for many years. He has been composing since 1998 and specializes in quality progressive electronica. Travelling a lot in his past, from South Africa to US and Europe, Human currently is working in the dance loving corner of the world, the Netherlands. He started his electronica addiction in the 90’s by listening a lot to popular trance and techno tracks while in the meantime being also interested in understanding the technical side of music, the hardware and software. Self-taught in many production softwares during time, he started to give technical lessons to beginners on the field.
Inspired by famous producers like Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk in the late 90’s, he acquired his particular taste for trance electronica. The Daft punk duo with their famous track ‘Around the world’ also influenced Human significantly. No longer was his electronica territory only bound to trance. Around ’99, as the music industry focused more and more on the commercial side of electronic music, Human turned away from the hype and created his own electronical musical domain. Human has always loved the underground scene, and has been consciously and unconsciously influenced by many next level underground producers.
Over the years, while searching for a deeper kind of music, he produced in genres ranging from progressive house, to downbeat and trip hop and experimental/ambient. Human has produced many (60+) experimental dance tracks over the time under his iTiGi alias. Then there was “Cloudwalker” in collaboration with international dj and labelowner Glenn Morrison which was a milestone in Human’s career. Human's main goal became trying to fuse the unusual with the beautiful, in hope to discover something that will capture the people’s emotions on the dancefloor. In his spare time Human was receiving several tracks for mastering and enhancement for Morrison Recordings.
The collaboration with Glenn Morrison, while living in different continents, made him appreciate teamwork. Since then, he has collaborated with other producers like PJ Davy, K’Lavander and others. This process of creativity and teamwork is one of the reasons why Human Adams will continue to seek new talent to work with in the future. Tracks like “Don’t Bother”, “Kill this Monkey” and “Kalamunda” are perfect examples of fusion of certain emotions with sound by the process of serendipity, genius and dedication by talented individuals. His music received support from big names like DJ Tiësto, Armin van Buuren , Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, Harry Lemon and many others. More tracks are scheduled to be released on labels as Existence Records, Groovecollection Black/Red/Originals, Morrison Recordings and Deep. In the future expect much more from Human Adams as he is constantly trying to perfect his skills.
If these accomplishments weren’t enough, parallel to his musical life, Human entered medical university at the age of 17, got a masters degree in Neuroscience at age 23, and is a qualified practician at age of 24 and is currently working as a researcher in radiology/cardiology in one of the top R&D Institutions in the world. At the end of the day Human just loves creativity very much, consistently trying to emulate and transform his ideas, also in art and photography, ultimately in hopes to create some beautiful pieces of work. He values and loves good people, good friends, and forward thinking individuals and hopes you like his music.
