Dymons is Daniel Symons.Genre: A Subtle mix of Ambient, Dub, Electronica, Chill out, World Fusion, Breaks, Progressive and PsyTrance.At the age of seven Dan wanted to drop out of school and sing...It didn't happen so he started drumming... with his mums pots and pans...At 17 he hit the road towards Morocco with a couple of drumsticks... and came back with a darbuka!Back to school he went ... But not for long... His love for drum beats and his thirst for adventure got him on a train to West Africa... With a full drum kit this time... He made his way through Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso where the kit was traded for some djembes...Alternate life styles, cultures, and music have taken him over the 5 inhabited continents since, where he has gained a considerable amount of musical experience, collected various indigenous musical instruments and quite a soundbank as he traveled most places with a digital tape recorder.Dymons has performed more than a thousand live gigs in over 30 countries with musicians from all over the world encompassing a wide variety of music styles and bands (Co-founding a few of them on the way). He has played in a wide spectrum of venues ranging from streets, bars, clubs and many festivals of up to 40'000 fans... alongside people like Transglobal Underground, The Roots, Senser, Aswad, Ismaël Lo, Habib Koite, Simon Posford (Shpongle, Hallucinogen), Ott, Gaudi, Tripswitch, Shulmann, Mauxam, Michelle Adamson, Irina Michailova, Aes Dana, KickBong, Total Eclipse, Naked Tourist, HyperFrequencies, Digital Talk, CPU, Etnica, Hux Flux... to name just a few...His mystical nature and perception that "there's much more to reality than can be seen" led him to explore various states of consciousness trough trance rituals with shamans and medicine men and women from many different horizons.
He has helped others experience such states and cure themselves by musically accompanying healing ceremonies and rituals (Fire Walking, Trance Dancing, Sweat Lodges…)
It also leads him to spend a lot of time in Nature and is deeply inspired by it.His first solo album "Druids Brew" is a potion made of the many influences he was blessed with throughout his traveling through space, time and beyond...His music is a profound reflection of his life experience...
